a few days ago, my mother-in-law was in town, and she helped me get started on making my first pillow! now, i am sure to some of you, this sounds ridiculous and not that exciting because you guys are "pro-sewers." for me, however, this was quite an accomplishment considering i have no sewing background. it took me an hour and a half JUST to thread the bobbin. yep, i sat there with the instruction manual for an hour and a half trying to figure out how to even start sewing! now, i am learning what all kinds of sewing terms mean and the differences in stitches and fabrics. wow. i had no idea how much there was to know! feel free to leave any tips or pointers! i am really getting addicted to this sewing thing.
