guess who turned 7 months?
march 31st marked 7 months {30 weeks} for naomi! first big milestone in month seven is that she is CRAWLING!! her first crawling moment sprang forth in illinois when we were visiting my sister's family. naomi's cousins were the spark that inspired naomi to make her first move.
she is also very aware of her voice now! she loves making the sound "ma ma ma ma" {her favorite sound..at least in my opinion} :) but has also discovered "ga ga ga ga" and "ba ba ba ba." she loves squealing and yelling really loudly too. it's quite hilarious unless we are in a public setting.
just two weeks after she started crawling, she learned to pull herself up! her favorite place to practice is the hearth of the fireplace....not the safest place so we are working hard on teaching her "no no." she is also determined to eat all of our magazines and books. they seem to be more appealing to her than all of her eye catching little baby books. she continues to be very joyful and laugh hysterically. the tricks to getting her to laugh are usually peak-a-boo, shaking our head like a puppy, putting her on our shoulders, and swinging her around. i'm sure we look really cool doing any of these, but who wouldn't do anything to hear that laugh?

Love the 7 month pics. I really wish we lived closer to each other. I also recognize that quilt and the owl pillows on the sofa are adorable!
