today is my dad's birthday! he is such a rock in our family. if you ever feel down or discouraged about anything, call my dad. he is the most understanding, gentle, sympathetic, and loving father out there.
he is strong, yet gentle. a protector, yet full of kindness. growing up, i knew that i could tell him anything and everything i was going through and not only would he love me just the same, he would see it from my perspective and help me walk through the situation with wisdom.
i know i can always call my dad and he will be there for me. i can't imagine life without him. i am so thankful for a dad that never tosses my emotions and feelings aside in the name of hormones or immaturity. instead, he listens and speaks in love and patience. happy birthday to the best dad out there. once again, birthdays are a reminder of living far away from family, but i hope you still feel special and so very loved today!
