last weekend, june 19th, was our 2 year anniversary!! we celebrated saturday since sunday was father's day. we couldn't skip over peter's first father's day!
the day was perfect. i love getting to spend a full day with peter. happy anniversary!
i woke up to these waiting for me at the table
along with this invitation to "choose my own adventure" for the day! woohoo!
i chose the walk to downtown franklin and obviously had to take a few pics along the way
the perfect morning for a stroll
then we stopped in at merridee's for breakfast.
our faithful companion got to enjoy a drink there as well
i sort of got lazy with the pictures after this...but the day continued with a wedding {happy wedding chris and bethany!}. then, we dropped naomi off at a friend's house and went and saw "Soul Surfer." it was excellent! i highly recommend it! although, i seriously got really light-headed during the shark attack. i don't know what happened, but next thing i knew, i was laying my head on peter's lap in the theater. i finally broke into a complete sweat. my whole body was drenched. then, i slowly started feeling good enough to sit up and watch the rest of the movie...meanwhile, the lady next to us thought i was nuts. anyway, great movie.
then, we finished the night off with red lobster! it was definitely a full day yet a fun day!
the "choose your own adventure idea" was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! We will be stealing that. :)
