leaves

 naomi LOVES being outside. i would venture to say its her favorite thing, although, i know she can't say that. one of my favorite things is to open the front door on a beautiful day to let the breeze in. we have a screen door so i can leave the door wide open and not worry about bugs. 

well, that is not the case anymore. i don't worry about bugs. i worry about naomi sneaking out! one time in particular, i was watching her to see if she would really go out on her own. she pushed the door wide open, and then sat on a little chair on our front porch! she looked so reflective and peaceful out there. 

she is like a little puppy in the sense that if she even thinks i am about to go outside or open the door, she grabs her shoes and runs to me, sits down and waits for me to put her shoes on! how can you resist that? plus, i am a big believer in play time outside! you've got to get that vitamin d! 

so needless to say, we have spent a lot of time outside lately.  the weather has been perfect and the leaves add a whole new level of discovery for her.
