life is good

what a wonderful friday! i woke up to the sun shining through my window and got to spend some refreshing time in the word. then, i headed to the zoo and even got a FREE pass for the day!! (thanks gwen!) i had the pleasure of hanging out with two women that challenge me and encourage me in every way. gwen is a mother of three and becka has a newborn.
with a baby on the way, i have a new respect for mothers and God keeps putting me around women who are at all different stages of motherhood who serve God and their families with complete joy and surrender. i know this is no accident! here are a few memories from the day.

my night was topped off with a picnic in the park with my husband. i decided to make bbq chicken quesadillas and bring some sweet tea. we spent most of our time trying to think of baby names :)

didn't realize until i opened them that i bought "whole" green chilies.
