half a year already!!! i know everyone says this time goes so fast, but it all seems like jargon until you go through it! she is getting bigger and bigger by the second and trying SO hard to crawl. she gets so frustrated when curious george is within a few inches, but her little body just won't move forward. she rocks, stretches, rolls, but is yet to officially crawl. she loves sitting up and seeing everything. public places are all the rage. she will just stare at every creature-man or animal that is within view. i think dogs are her favorite though (you can see proof here).
besides trying to crawl, she loves to stand, bounce, grab my hair, lay on her side, bang her toys against her car seat, and put everything possible in her mouth. she has also started giving people really "pensive" looks, like she is measuring them up. she has better eye contact with people than i do. oh and when she hears a noise, she will stop what she is doing and look around to see where the noise is coming from. if i am in the other room making noise, and then peek my head to look at her, she is already looking at me with a huge grin. it's my favorite :)

it's been the most joyful six months yet.
she does this exact face to us when we lay her down in her crib for a nap. it's so hard to leave the room!
