we turned our christmas decorating night into a fun family event and i am hoping to make it a yearly tradition. we made it even more special by topping the night off with a candle light dinner.
decorating this year was twice as fun since naomi is old enough to be somewhat involved in the process. she was intrigued by those hanging things on the tree. daily, i would catch her taking them off and hiding them in the storage compartment of her toy car. the nativity sets also acted as a new toy. she was always carrying around mary or a sheep.
reeeeaching to put her ornament on the tree..or to take one off. i am not sure.

and ta-da! our finished tree....although, i prefer a real tree 100 times more than a fake tree, this one has saved us from buying a tree the last 3 years! when we start having actual christmas at our place some day, i will be sure to have a real tree.
