i had been planning to make breakfast for peter the morning of his birthday. this seemed pretty easy because his work day usually starts at 10 am. however, we were leaving for charleston the day of his birthday so he decided to go in a 7 am. this meant i had to start breakfast at 6:15 am! true love, right?
well, ignore the mess and gaze upon my beautiful breakfast! i decided to make avocado scones and scrambled eggs! they were delicious!

the day continued with birthday presents, a flight to charleston and dinner with his parents. it was a wonderful day with my wonderful man. i am so thankful for a husband who is also my best friend. he brings so much joy to my life and i have never met a more consistent, faithful, and hardworking man.
Peter, thank you for being a man of your word, a man of integrity, and a man who serves the Lord with all your heart! you are absolutely perfect for me!
